The company's lawyer told the Times that the hotel guest was Olmert. He also said he did not know if Olmert knew who paid the bill.

Olmert is being investigated in Israel on accusations that he took large bribes from Talansky, a Long Island, N.Y., resident who also owns a home in Israel.

Olmert, who has said the money was all legal campaign donations, said May 8 that he would resign if indicted.
